Just came across a video of a young Donte getting smoked by Ben and AB. Can't take anything away from Donte. Many a corner was toasted by that combo. Anyway I just thought it was interesting.

I was about to say “Yeah, he’s a CB2 going 1 on 1 against the best WR/QB tandem in the league at that time, and a top ten all time wr at that.”
The next time he sees another AB level talent, hopefully he’ll only be viewing him from across the field. Because JPJ will be the one shadowing.

Lots of rookies wouldn’t be able to cover AB. Probably all of them.
AB torched everybody. Remember in 2015 Chris Harris Jr. had not given up a TD in 35 games and was considered one of top NFL corners at then time. AB ended that streak with 2 in the same game and 189 yds.
You’d have to be an equally great DB to what Ben/AB were and they were arguably the best duo ever. DJ can be solid for us covering 2’s while JPJ covers the 1’s but it’s not like jpj wouldn’t have his fair share of lowlights against prime AB either lol.
AB was far better than any WR in the league today.
That is probably the most fun Steelers game I have watched
AB was a master at the push off.
He was so subtle doing it, and then also was one of the best at “late hands” in recent times.
