The ultimate plot twist will be how the first seven picks of the draft are all defense and the Falcons have the decision to choose any offensive player in this draft.
That’s not a bold take. That’s literally the take of social media. Scouts and coaches who know way more than the fans are the ones that like latu more.
I’d rather have Turner but Latu wouldn’t surprise me at 8.
Is there tape of turner I should watch to get me excited for him? I don’t watch college ball at all and I’ve only seen his game against Georgia, Texas and ole miss. In those games, he looked like a freak athlete with great measurables but left a lot to be desired as a pass rusher. Plays the run really well though.
Neither Verse, Latu, or Turner are worthy of #8
If we arent in love with Turner or Latu (I think Verse’s 3 cone and 20 yard shuttle take him out of the runnings) I want to trade down, get Quinyon Mitchell and package whatever we got in return for the trade-down with our 2nd to make a run at Chop Robinson if he lasts till the end of the 1st/top of the 2nd.
