The Sacramento Kings defeated the Utah Jazz, 127-106 as they snap a 2-game skid to move to 43-31. Keegan Murray led the Kings with 25 points as De’Aaron Fox (24 points, 12 assists, 6 rebounds) and Domantas Sabonis (17 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists) added 41 points. Collin Sexton had 22 points and 4 assists for Utah. The Jazz fall to 29-46 on year.
Domantas Sabonis records his 57th straight double-double and his league-leading 70th of the year.

Sabonis is one of FOUR PLAYERS since the 1980-81 season to record 70 or more:
Kevin Garnett – 71 in 2003-04
Hakeem Olajuwon – 72 in 1992-93
Moses Malone – 3x (73 in 1982-83, 71 in 1981-82, 74 in 1980-81)

Sabonis reached 1K REB on the year with his fourth of the night, making him the first player in the Sacramento era of Kings franchise history to reach this total.

Sabonis is the first player in the Kings’ overall franchise history since 1975-76 to reach this mark and just the fourth player overall, along with Sam Lacey (3x) and Jerry Lucas (6x), and Maurice Stokes (3x).

  1. Sabonis is the 2nd player in NBA history to reach 1,000 points and 600 assists in a season. The first? Wilt….back in 1967

Let that marinate. Not only does this dude deserve All Star recognition, but he needs to be in the MVP convo.

  2. As you tell by domas face at the beginning this was an absolute must-win game for the kings. Hope this is the start of a winning streak to get the kings to 6th seed 🟣🔦

  3. Kings bench is so underrated. So excited to see what my Kings do in the playoffs, we kept the same formula because you can't purchase chemistry. Might be the best Kings squad ever. LIGHT THE MF BEAM!
