Royals and MLB.tv

So how are you guys watching Royals games? With Bally Sports? I need suggestions.

I got the mlb.tv All Teams Yearly thing from T-Mobile I think last week, and yet I still can't watch the Royals or Cardinals games so far because of blackouts. Kinda sucks considering if I had actually bought the MLB subscription it would've been $150 for the entire year just to not be able to watch my two teams.

  1. I did the mlb tv and nord vpn last year. It was a hassle. I just ponied up this year the 19.99 a month for Bally. If they’re out of it by June again I’ll cancel

  2. Me too! I thought black out dates only applied to home games. I had also heard I could watch a home game the day after the broadcast. Nope. Nothing.

  3. MLB.TV exists to watch out of market games only. The same way it has for the last 20 years or however long it’s a thing

  4. Mlb.tv + VPN. Also recommend donating to the MLBPAA before getting you a mlb.tv subscription since they’ll send you a 50% coupon ($25 donation + $75 subscription)

  5. Watching MLB.tv with Nord VPN, got a deal last year for a few years. Was worried it wouldn’t work but so far I just turned it on Saturday and been working fine since.

  6. I bought a month of a VPN in hopes my free MLB TV would be usefull outside of watching the Padres, and it’s been a hit and… miss. So frustrating.

  7. You got nothing on Iowa per my son. Because of his location there, you can’t watch the Cubs, Sox, Brewers, Twins, Cards, or Royals. 1/5 of the league. He’s about four hours drive from each metro area and totally screwed.
