  1. This team is in trouble if the offense can only succeed with Royce. Pitching allowing only 3 runs should be enough to win a game

1 home run in 4 games is not a great look

  2. Look if you’re shitting yourself after four games, only two of which were losses, I don’t know what to tell you.

  3. A bit of it was poor luck, but the bats are looking scarily similar to the beginning of last season.

On the plus side, the bullpen seems like it’s still strong even with a lot of people injured.

  4. Team should have lit Junis up. Bailed him out by being way too agressive early in the count. Like 1st pitch you see, you don’t have to swing.

  5. So 4 games in and certain folks have already declared Margot who entered the game hitting .400, Santana who entered the game with a nearly .400 OBP, and Wallner who had an incredible rookie year “ass”

Should be a fun GDT year 🙄

Let’s all shit our pants and overreact since there’s *only* 158 left 😱

  6. At least we have a few new faces to look at as we get out with runners on base this year 🤷

  7. It seems like designing a rotation around a bunch of guys with very short track records was pretty reckless

  8. Good: Bullpen held Milwaukee to 4 scoreless innings

Bad: can’t elevate the ball when hitting

  9. Day games are not our strength. Luckily, it’s only 14 games left before we have a game start after 6pm central against a team that spent less than a billion dollars this offseason. We should be favored in that one.

  10. Over’s horrendous game aside (PEOPLE ARE SAYING HE WAS TIPPING HIS PITCHES????) I’m more worried about the offense.

  11. Good bounce back game for the pitching. Hoping that the bats start taking a few more pitches and working longer PAs, too many ending in 1-2 pitches especially early today
