  1. The mayor is saying that Oakland should be the best place, if they can’t get a deal in Oakland, Welcome to Sacramento. The idea is to not make it seem that they took the team away from Oakland.

Tomorrow is the meeting in Sacramento and the rumor is that they’re going to offer the A’s an attractive deal to bring them to Sacramento.

  2. I think everyone other then Fisher and Manfred knows the A’s should stay in Oakland

  3. Fisher has made delusional choices before. Why would the Rivercats agree to move out of their stadium? Why would the Giants allow it? It means the A’s lose out on their broadcast contract because Sacramento is outside of the agreed territory. The stadium holds 12,500 maximum. I’m not even sure the facility is up to MLB or MLBPA standards.

I understand why we are talking about this trainwreck and I am not criticizing any of us, but think about it, there’s fans of 29 other major league teams right now talking about baseball, how the season is shaping up, and A’s fans are wondering where the team will play next year. This is beyond pathetic.
