Never forget LeGM wanted Spo fired like 20 games into his first season there.

Yeah he didn’t get pressured by him even though he got outplayed by role players.
Lebron wanted to get rid of Spo, hated the play in and wanted westbrook. So many sliding door moments lol
Im curious what happens if the Celtics and Heat play this postseason, i don’t think Spo is gonna defend Porzingis on the perimeter the way Boston wants him too though

Just last season they were asking Spo about how to slow down the Knicks in the playoffs. He goes on to talk about Josh Hart’s rebounding ability and how it’s all based on timing off the rim. As soon as he said that, I knew we were fucked.
Interesting, yet he wanted Spo fired.
If my memory serves me correct, didn’t LeBron and Wade try to out dawg Spoelstra? And Spoelstra basically told them to shut tf up

And to think that Lebron wanted Pat Riley to fire Spo.
I keep saying take Luka, Austin from lakers and Tyrese from Philly then surround them with young players with similar abilities and have the whole heat team replaced with them and let coach Spo coach them to rings for the next 5 years
I always think of the Heat and Spo when folks say that Bron has never had a competent coach, front office or organization. He could’ve stayed and had all of that.
