Lakers are now only a 1/2 game behind the Kings

To continue our path to the 6th seed, tomorrow we need:

  • Celtics beat Kings

  • Spurs upset Pelicans

  • Timberwolves beat Suns

That will put us into a tie with Sacramento and only .5 games behind Phoenix & New Orleans

We take care of business on Saturday against the Cavs with those 3 things happening and our chances to get past the play-in are looking much better

These two guys, I believe will take care of business

  2. Only time I will ever root for those leprechauns if it means moving up the standings and avoiding the playin games.

  3. Pelicans/Suns play each other again too so that’s a guaranteed game to move up on one of those teams. Just gotta keep winning

  4. It’s very possible to that we could slide into the 6th seed and although it’s highly unlikely we could finish as high as 5th if all the cards fall the right way!

  5. If only the NBA was smart and counted the in-season tournament championship as a win…

  6. Those 3 teams will still play against each other. Best case scenario is the they split their games against each other and hope that other teams will pull the Kings further. Lakers need to go 5-0 tho to remain in the hunt for the 6th seed.

  7. They are facing the celtics tomorrow. We have a chance to overtake them. We need to take care of business

  8. I’m worried the Celtics are just going to tank the game. They don’t need any more wins.

  9. The saturday/sunday b2b isn’t a traditional b2b for us as well since cavs game has a morning/afternoon start and minny game has a late night start. Gives at least an extra 4-5 hours of recovery over a typical b2b game. Plus wed be home so no traveling time. LeBron can hop into his 24 hour hyperbaric chamber to speed up recovery.

  10. Never ever trust leprechauns for saving our future. They will do the unbelievable to lose tomorrow.

Same with Minnie. Nobody wanna even come close to us coming PO time. They know and they all doing their best to secure us the least playin seed possible.

But be calm, karma will fuck u later poor strategical teams

  11. For the record, they still own the tie breaker over us, so even if we go 5-0 we still need them to go 4-2 or worse

  12. Brother my balls are bleuuuuuuu bleuuuu..

We’re very special if we just make playoffs.. we will be problem .. but pls just get there!!!

  13. League to the Lakers: abandon hope you have no chance.

    Lakers: unless I win !

  14. Remember that the Celtics are the biggest Laker hater. They’re number one in the east by a huge margin. They might just rest half of the team against the Kings tomorrow.

I’ll appreciate it if they proved me wrong tho lol

  15. Theirs also implications for the clippers too. If denver takes care of buisness tonight, they certainly dont want to drop 7-8 when kawhi is not even guaranteed to be available. They face suns 2x and cavs. We might not be able to leap frog them but they dont want to drop into playin/7-8.

  16. If the fucking Celtics lose against the Kings tomorrow….![img](emote|t5_2qhv6|30946)

  17. We’re peaking right now but for the love of god wouldn’t it be something if it came down to Lakers vs. Kings for the final playoff spot. They’ve been a terrible matchup for us all year long.

  18. Oh man if the Lakers remain perfect, there’s a real shot we’re out and away from this play-in mess entirely.

  19. I knew the team likeliest to drop would’ve been the Kings. They have the toughest schedule coming up. Boston next on a back to back. Need to take down the Cavs Saturday night

  20. Finally had something go our way. The only thing stopping us from getting a top 8 seed is us, just gotta keep winning

  21. This sucks…I don’t want to have to root for those guys to beat the Kings tomorrow. I’m already starting to feel sick.

  22. Celtics have no incentive to beat the Kings tomorrow night. A loss won’t hurt them and a win only helps the Lakers. Wouldn’t be surprised if they’re well aware of that
