  1. Great news on a Friday evening! Huge for our line depth, I’m a big fan of Danna.

  2. Needed him for sure. Omenihu missing time meant FAU was forced to start.

If total money is lower than $20m I’ll love it. 3 year deal is very nice.

  3. Danna on a team-friendly deal felt like it was always going to happen. Still would like another veteran in the room even for when Omenihu comes back though. Can never have to many defensive linemen to rotate.

  4. They were interviewing all the players in the locker room this year and asked who is the most underrated player on the defense this year. Nearly all of them praised Danna. we also likely won’t get Omenihu back until January if at all for the season.

  5. Always liked Danna. Solid contributor even if it never showed up in the box score. Happy he gets a deal to stay especially with the current state of the line.

  6. YES

This guy is so underrated, he really carved out a role for himself over the past 2 or 3 seasons. If nothing else he is a grinder and never takes a play off. So happy to have Mike back, 31 teams don’t know what they’re missing.

  7. Wow. Keeping that dline intact. Love to see it.

Not much of a neee to spend a ton of draft capital at the D end position now.

  8. Man.. I was really hoping we would keep him..

In terms of our “second tier” D line guys, he doesnt get talked about as often as Furious George, but his ability and play was without a doubt impactful and consistent enough where the fans noticed. Hope he can maintain or even build on his great performance last year!

Love this signing, he is a great value to the defense!

  9. I’m so glad we re-signed him. Our defense was spectacular last year and he was a big part of it when he played. I’m so happy for Mike. He deserved to get paid for his hard work.
