Shocked. Looked locked on to earn a spot after last years spring training. Now he’s been released by the Org.

He slashed .231/.314/.396 (.710 OPS) last year in AAA. Couple that with 108 strikeouts over 316 AB and that means this cut makes absolute sense. Dude was going nowhere.
Edit: His total AAA numbers are just as bad. Nobody should be surprised by this.
