[Pavlovic] The Giants might have struck gold with Starting Pitcher Jordan Hicks. He set career-highs with seven innings and 91 pitches, allowing two runs and striking out five. His 87th pitch of the day was 99 mph.

  1. If he continues like this, it’s the best bargain of the off-season. Getting a quality starter for 11 mil a year is incredible.

  2. Now what are we gonna do when Ray and Cobb are back, put one in bullpen, or 6 man rotation?

  3. I like him and he’s been pitching really well so far. When we get pitchers back from injuries and snell pitching, I think we’re looking good.

  4. Everyone was expecting him to move down to the bullpen after Cobb and Ray are back healthy. If Hicks keeps this up, it’ll be ***good*** “problem” for the coaching staff to have.

  5. I’m glad he’s doing so great, but let’s see how he’s doing after 100+ IP.

  6. I’ll be honest I didn’t think he’d have a single start as strong as this one all season. Hope he holds up.
