  1. 7-3 to start the year, starting pitching is elite, when the offense is going, it is GOING

Even with Story’s injury, I think this is gonna an enjoyable season

  2. competition be damned, 7-3 is 7-3. Got the west coast trip out of the way and then some

  3. 7-3 West Coast trip almost a miracle. 99% of us would take that every day of the week, amazing start so far, pitching has been insane.

  4. Keep the momentum going for opening day. 7-3 is a hell of a start. Fantastic game for Houck.

  5. If you told me we’d go 7-3 on this road trip to start the year I would’ve politely chuckled

  6. If these first 10 games are any indication, this team has a chance to surprise a lot of people this year.

  7. You just gotta love the spirit in the dugout. Even though Story’s injury is obviously the low blow we didn’t need, the guys are still dancing around an having fun playing ball – LFG

  8. Don’t look now, but the Boston Red Sox have the fourth best record in the American League

  9. All of our losses on this road trip were one run games. We’re tied with the Braves for the second best run differential in the Majors.

  10. Dropped a game or two on this west coast series that we probably should’ve won but I’m more than happy that they’re coming back to Boston with a 7-3 record.

  11. I know it’s one game, but Hamilton’s play today made me feel a little better about Story’s absence. If he can be at least serviceable it would be big.

  12. When the series ends with the opposing team throwing a position player on the mound, you know it’s probably gonna be a happy flight home 😎

  13. Real series starts on Tuesday. It’ll be a good indication if this team is for real or not

  14. Tanner Houck might be a legit starter and I don’t know how it happened but fuck have I never been happier to be wrong.

  15. The blowouts are all our wins.

The losses are all 1 run losses.

Fucking brilliant start to the season. 2013 “nobody believes in us – fuck them.” Vibes.
