   Q: What do you remember about Opening Day 20 years ago?

   A: “We had season tickets for the first couple years…that was the most exciting thing for me as a kid, was getting through the school day so you could go home and change and get down to the game. So pretty cool to be playing here in this park 20 years later.”

   Q: What would you say to that kid 20 years ago

   A: “You got a pretty good road coming up ahead of you, so, just continue. My dad was like my hero, my idol, my baseball coach, my everything growing up. He always stressed the importance of hard work and effort. Just keep doing things the right way and things will fall into place for you…and they sure have.”

   Row in front of the press box. Got Tony’s autograph on 2 opening day tickets! My favorite Gwynn signature I have!
