  1. If he gets the waiver I would want him at 6. Love him for next year, I would still look at Castle first but Pate would be a fantastic get

  3. This would be pretty awesome, if he gets permission to enter the draft. [He is currently projected in the top 10 of the 2025 draft](https://nbadraftroom.com/2025-nba-mock-draft/), which is considered a much stronger draft than the 2024 one. There’s a legit possibility he could be in the top 5 mix if he’s draft eligible this year, which would be a nice boost to a weak draft class.
