Sitting in the cold rain watching our hapless hitters not get on base the last four innings of a close game did indeed suck.
Every single hitting coach needs to be relieved of their duties. Absolutely abysmal performance last night. Inexcusable plate approach. “The hits will come” is bullshit when opposing pitchers know they can get two easy strikes on every batter by throwing junk in the dirt.
I also think that anyone who strikes out looking in the later innings when we’re down should be immediately DFA. Take that shit to St. Paul.
Seeing Jeffers watch 3 strikes in a row go by without taking the bat off his shoulder was really one of the batting performances of all time
