  1. That’s why they call him Big Game, baby. Loved seeing him pumping pure gas to challenge them, putting pressure of discouraged hitters. His change-up is so goddamn filthy but he’s had trouble locating it the past couple outings.

  2. I mean, I like the results so far, but a bunch of those pitches looked like they had little to no movement. Get a few players timing his velocity right (i.e Bryce Harper in ‘22 NLCS…) and those could become extra base hits in no time. That 3-1 pitch to Bellinger had me cringing as it was pretty close to right down the middle. I know Bob relies on the gas but he could use a reliable second pitch to keep hitters off balance a bit.

  3. Suarez looks good. Matsui looks pretty good. We really need someone to step up into bullpen spot #3.

  4. It is worrisome that he seems to have completely abandoned his offspeed pitches.
