Loved it.
That’s why they call him Big Game, baby. Loved seeing him pumping pure gas to challenge them, putting pressure of discouraged hitters. His change-up is so goddamn filthy but he’s had trouble locating it the past couple outings.

Bobby is settling in to his savior role really well!
I’m praying to Jobu that his UCL stays intact
I mean, I like the results so far, but a bunch of those pitches looked like they had little to no movement. Get a few players timing his velocity right (i.e Bryce Harper in ‘22 NLCS…) and those could become extra base hits in no time. That 3-1 pitch to Bellinger had me cringing as it was pretty close to right down the middle. I know Bob relies on the gas but he could use a reliable second pitch to keep hitters off balance a bit.
He’s a beast
Suarez looks good. Matsui looks pretty good. We really need someone to step up into bullpen spot #3.
It is worrisome that he seems to have completely abandoned his offspeed pitches.
