  1. It’s incredible how poorly they developed him last year, from bouncing him all over the lineup, to his approach at the plate.

As a line drive hitter he’s an absolute force. I’m pleasantly surprised.

Not sure if it was a hitting coach issue, Volpe issue, or mix of many things. But this is night and day.

  2. I’m afraid to get excited because I don’t want to get hurt when he comes back down to earth.

    but I’m so excited

  3. Crazy, not a single deranged Volpe hater or posts about how he is overrated and needs to be sent down. Trying to talk sense to those people was like talking to a brick wall. They were even here in spring training talking trash. They have no shame and cant even admit they were wrong, they just……..vanished. EDIT: One of the seething Volpe haters from last year sent me a reddit care message lmao. Truly the dumbest people on earth.

  4. Not saying he will stay this good, but it’s not really shocking that he needed time to adjust to the MLB

  5. I need someone to make the apology form meme for Anthony volpe. The slander that was talked about on this sub was wild

  6. Maybe the kid who put up the first 20/20 rookie season in Yankees history isn’t a bust. Idk.

  7. OK but can we please calm down a tiny bit. I don’t want to guys to freak out when he inevitably goes 0-for-something at some point.

  8. His hitting is obviously the most surprising but his defense has also been somewhat surprising.
