[bultman] Derek Lalonde said doctor told him Andrew Copp broke his cheek bone on that late high stick that went uncalled. Going to have imaging to confirm

  1. Refs are an absolute clown show.

Refs: Only a pen of it’s an injury off the missed call

*Copp goes to the locker room with a likely injury*

Refs: We’ll wait for the imaging to make a call

  2. Am I the only one who saw blood on his ear? Might’ve seen wrong.

Anyways, hopefully he’ll be able to go Bedard style for the next few games

  3. I know the refs missed this call. But if Copp is injured and is out. I think you have to call up Kasper. This second half of the season, he’s been playing great. I think the wings need to have their best shot going forward, for the playoffs. Also the czarnick open slot miss (approx 11:08 of second period) will give me nightmare’s.

  4. Still can’t spot it. Gonna get together with situation room in Toronto and Zapruder film this one for a day or two, see what we can find. Send food.

What a disgrace. We can get a group of 25 humans and 70M worth of broadcasting equipment to figure out if a play was offside by a cockroach public hair, but Copp gets his fucking face smashed and breaks his cheekbone *while making a play on the puck* and the officials are looking around confused like your embarrassed dog after you catch it eating garbage.

  5. It’s kinda silly that it takes blood when you could literally *break a bone* which I consider far more serious than a cut that shows a little red.

  6. I literally said in the game day thread so if he broke his cheek it doesn’t count as an injury? What the hell.

  7. Such horseshit. I, and really no one (at least no one should), is saying “refs lost it for us”. No, we couldnt bury pucks tnite until the 59 min and 58.5 secs. But shit, they did us no favors either. What if we got two more PP’s with all the bullshit no calls tnite? What if we got one out of that? And nothing will happen. Ah well…
