This is the most pissed off as we’ve seen Lavy all year. It’s not a Torts level tirade but he’s pissed. There’s no doubt that Rempe is in for Saturday.
Haven’t seen him this upset in a while.

Imo That’s a coach pushing buttons on his team he knows needs pushing. I don’t think the Mika collision was intentional, and I’d be surprised if he does, after watching the replays. He’s motivating his team for these last few games.
Glad to see him angry – but I’d be waaaay more pissed about the hit to Trocheck than Zibby’s hit. I honestly don’t get it. Even Sam and Joe said it looked incidental. I watched the replay – neither guy is looking at each other.

I got downvoted for saying this in the PGT, albeit with much less emotion and much more “I might be wrong” lol…this sub sucks, and not just when it’s being brigaded by isles fans.
I keep watching the Mika hit and it’s hard to see it but it does look like Pellech does a quick side glance as Mika’s approaching him. Very subtle and camera not conclusive but maybe the coaching staff have something more incriminating than they’re leading on.
The only way I could see it being intentional is if earlier in the sequence he glances and sees Mika coming and puts his elbow up, knowing mika is gonna skate into him. And that’s a stretch, I think he’s just hyping his guys up

I’m in the minority but I think it was clearly intentional. When he comes into frame, Pelech is looking at Mika and he’s skating towards the center line. He definitely goes back towards his own blue line and then stops – not to mention elbow up. With that said, I think he meant to bump him and there was nothing necessarily malicious behind it.

I’m sure there was a combination of things he was angry about. The officiating was garbage tonight and seeing all of those injuries that almost happened must have been scary. I love that he is so passionate and stands up for all of his guys.
Rempe will for sure play on Saturday and that is going to be a shitshow for sure. It would be kind of nice for him to bring his fighting full circle this season though. It started with an Islanders game, and ends with an Islanders game.
