Without Vando and free throws… I’m actually not of the mindset the Lakers are the bad matchup they were last year to the Dubs. Still tough with AD but an even match or maybe even a touch in our favor. Pels are actually a tougher matchup imo (and they’re cold atm). If we win our next one I’ll let myself imagine the possibility of getting the 8 seed. Would love 2 games to win 1. Go Dubs.
realistically i see kings lakers AND warriors losing 36 games each. looks like were still going to end 9/10 and be forced to win two straight elimination games just to make the playoffs. we really dicked around all season even though we are way better than our record suggests.
unfortunate the trio is a year older next season when this one imo we have a championship caliber roster. got our shit together too little too late like it’s 2021

I’ve been seeing a lot of posts this week saying the team should rest and be content with 10th. With last night’s win we have the tiebreaker over the lakers now giving us the opportunity to be at least 9th. If we win out (blazers, pelicans and jazz) and the kings lose at least 2 games we can even climb to 8th.

Imo I’d much rather we get either 10th seed or at best 8th seed. We’re much better on the road this season and shown that we’re a threat during a must-win situation. Best case scenario, winning against 7th seed in play-in gives us a first round matchup against 2nd seed so we avoid nuggets.
Have to get to 7 vs 8 in play in. Nuggets will beat Wolves in Denver and wrap up 1 seed. GS has to be 7 vs 2. They get that matchup they can get to WCF. Wolves and Clippers/Mavs first 2 rounds? I’ll take that every time.
