  1. I agree but this list isn’t ranking all time. Instead it’s current rivalries and lolmets just haven’t been enough of a threat.

  2. Is it really a rivalry at this point with the Mets, it really feels more like bullying at this point.

  3. There’s was a spell in the 90s where I thought the Yankees were the biggest rivalry.

Because the Braves trounced everyone in the NL seemed like.

Before that, when the Braves were in the NL West, didn’t care much for the Giants

  4. Our biggest rival is whoever happens to be on the upswing in the NL East. Right now? Phuck the Phillies. 2 years ago? Mets games were must see. 2019? I haaaaated the nats. It’s just a revolving door. I guess you could make an argument for the dodgers right now, tbh

  5. I think as far as just teams, it rotates between Phillies and Mets with a sprinkling of Nats, depending on how everyone is doing. But as far as fandoms, fuck the Phillies with a 10 ft pole. They’re even worse than Saints fans, and FTS for life.

  6. I believe it flip flops between the Mets and the Phillies depending who is the bigger threat. Right now, I’d say the Phils, ATL being knocked out on the 1st round twice… Doesn’t sit well with me as a Braves fans.

  7. I mean, the Phillies have rivalries against everyone because everyone hates them.

  8. The Mets are 415-506 (.451 W%) vs the Braves all time.

The Phillies are 1199-1320 (.476 W%) vs the Braves all time.

The Marlins are 205-308 (.400 W%) vs the Braves all time

The Nationals are 376-419 (.473 W%) vs the Braves all time. Expos are 214-242 (.469 W%) vs the Braves all time.

  9. Hard to be rivals against a team that hasn’t been good in years…

We have more recent history with the Phillies,
in the playoffs and battling it out for the division crown. Also, the Phillies are just more hateable in general. Not sure if it the unis, the phanatic, or just Bryce.

  10. I feel like every good team has a historical rival and a current rival. The Yankees are a good example shown here in the original post. The Red Sox are their historical rival, but they haven’t been much of a threat lately. However, the Astros have been the Yankees’ Achilles heel in the postseason for the past several years now, and there’s a lot of bitterness between those teams and their fanbases.

I hate the Mets as much as the next guy, but they just don’t feel like as much of a threat as the Phillies right now. My mom was in high school the last time they won a World Series.

  11. I told my girlfriend the other day, I hate the Mets the most. But I hate the Phillies fans more than the Phillies themselves.
