The three biggest contracts this season for the Panthers: Damien Lewis, Robert Hunt, and Derrick Brown have no guaranteed money after 2025

They all have pro rated bonus that would leave us with a lot of dead money if we cut them though. All 3 are probably on the team in 26, and Hunt and Brown likely stay through 27 too.
What this tells me is that Morgan and Tilis are nearly guaranteed to outlast Canales should he fail. Two years of guaranteed money for these players, restructure possibilities for year 3. Either Canales is the future of the Panthers for real or we’re set up to launch into an immediate rebuild after firing him.
