For Denver, Nikola Jokic led the way with 41 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 steals while aided by Jamal Murray (20 points (4 3PM), 4 rebounds, 6 assists) in the victory. Anthony Edwards finished with 25 points and 4 assists with Rudy Gobert adding 13 points, 15 rebounds, and 2 steals for Minnesota in the losing effort. Denver improves to 56-24, while Minnesota moves to 55-25 with the loss.
Anthony Edwards has reached 2,222 PTS scored this season, he becomes the third player in MIN history to record 2000 PTS in a season (KAT – 2,061 in 16-17; Love – 2010 in 2013-14)
Denver claims the 1st seed of the Western Conference with the win.

  16. Mvp will come down either to Joker or Luka. If dallas wins the last game against okc with a big performance from luka, is going to be tough to decide

  21. What i find sad in the MVP debate is that if Joker wins people will call him a fake MVP and downplay how great he is for the sake of supporting Luka.

  23. No doubt Jokic is a great player.
    He's the best center right now and he does what we expect a perfect player does.
    But i think Luka at least deserves one MVP award because of the stats and just buty of his plays.
    When you watch Luka playing you feel like you're watching a masterpiece and that's why I think he deserves this award.

  27. You see who is really DPOY when u saw Braunn dunking on Gobert on 4th quarter and who he run away from Wemby on a potential game winner … For me Wemby better individual defense player then Gobert rigth now , pls gave him the trophy

  38. the footwork in the post is so fucking fun to watch. not to mention him being able to both shoot from 3 and drive past/through whoever is guarding him on the perimeter.

  41. Really good game, though I did tend to see bias towards Denver via the commentators on espn. Plus the NBA still isn’t really giving a damn about the Wolves, even though they are a good team, and I think officiating could’ve been better sometimes.

The big difference between excellent player,like Luka,and historical player,like Jokic(and it doesn’t means that Luka couldn’t be historical one day,but for now he need to mature),is that you KNOW and could rely on Jokic,for example,that he will be for sure excellent in the games which are important.That certainty that these types of players could provide for teammates,fans and others who rely on them is unmatched for an athlete.And for one athlete that is biggest achievement that could be reached.
