He said he was gonna hold players accountable and this is it. Nice
It made himself look lazy. Good on Ron for letting him have it. This is terrible for a veteran and even worse for someone trying to make the club.
Quad A Jo back in action. The only reason they haven’t traded this guy is FOMO. He has the talent. What the hell??!
I love Wash sm
Jo moment
Many “Angels fan” in twitter/X actually hated this because it seems like Ron Washington threw Adell under the bus.
Like huh??? Should Wash praise him for that performance?
Adell’s an adult and worked hard every season. I’m sure he would agree with what Wash said here.
Def a bonehead play by Jo but the worst part is that we now probably have 2 more weeks of Aaron Hicks and Sano playing over him
This is the thing about Wash: He is the leader on this club. The experience veteran there to mentor the kids. Rendon a little but that’s not really his personality. Trout has no experience in a post season run or even a late season battle. Everyone else on this team is green in that regard.
Ron wasn’t wrong for his comments at all, and I don’t think Jo is soft enough to get his feelings hurt by it either.
I like hearing this. It actually gives me hope for this team.
We’ve had Wash for like a minute and he’s already done way more than Maddon and Nevin ever did.
When I saw the replay I thought to myself: “Did he think it was a 3-2 count and he didn’t slide because he didn’t hear contact?” (Meaning it would be a walk or strikeout)
Nope. Literally the first pitch of the at bat. Just a complete brain fart.
