I think Ant has spoiled us when we talk about young players because he just keeps taking leap after leap every year, but that’s not really normal lol.
It’s ok for Jaden to have a shit season, he is still figuring things out, but I wouldn’t even call it that. He still was a key piece on the best defense in the league, and IMO still developed offensively.
Sometimes young guys take 2 steps forward and 1 step back, and thats ok.
The shooting doesn’t really worry me that much. Sometimes guys have a hard time making those shots when they don’t have rhythm. The bigger issue I have with Jaden is that his non-scoring offense is basically non-existent. His handle is poor and basic pressure results in a turnover, and he’s also not a great cutter. I really liked that pass Rudy had to him, and think that could be a good way to get him involved offensively.
You can use the same meme for Kyle Anderson too!
Well considering he’s shooting something like 11% on 3’s over the past several games, the contested layup is probably the better option.
