Jordan Poole

Poole talks about what it’s like going from Champion Warriors to struggling Wizards.

I honestly feel for him, not sure if this is an unpopular opinion or not but I really do miss him on the team. Hope things turn around for him.

  1. I hold immense respect for him; without his contributions, we wouldn’t have made the playoffs or secured that fourth championship. It’s a Cinderella story, in my opinion. The events of last year deeply affected him, but he remains a warrior in my eyes, forever.

The 4th championship was very satisfying especially it got Steph the final MVP and proved all the doubters wrong

  2. Hes in a great spot to be motivated to keep getting better. He’s seen the highest high and the lowest low.

As long as he’s focused on getting better and being a good teammate, he’ll be back on the mountain.

  3. I miss the 2022 version of him that was hungry to contribute in any way possible. I absolutely do not miss the 2023 version of him that just blatantly refused to even pretend to try on the defensive end.

  4. Can someone explain to me when people will stop blaming Draymond? I understand that had a negative impact on the warriors season, but it’s been almost 2 full seasons later and we are still bringing it up. At what point will Jordan Poole be accountable for Jordan Poole?

  5. You guys are all assholes lmao imagine a co worker punching you and nothing happens to him and he gets a raise and you get fired. Y’all weirdos talking down on it.

  6. What dies he mean with the quote in the second pic?
Does he think he is underappreciated RIGHT NOW?

  7. I don’t feel for him at all. If he wasn’t such a diva he’d probably still on this team

  8. Nah, full stop. He is talking about box scores from almost 3 years ago. Look at his last season with us. The season he quit on us and developed those terrible bambi legs and lost his hand-eye coordination to the point his biggest supporter on the team in Iggy was like “Do you know how much energy it takes not to try?” Good riddance that cancer is gone from our squad. He thought he was him on Steph Fucking Curry’s team. GG, enjoy your ride into irrelevance. If he had just kept his head up, played ball, and actually tried he wouldn’t be in this predicament and we might have actually chose him over Draymond. Now he gets to fade into obscurity based on the fact that the powers that be know he can’t be trusted with a leadership role nor an important role in a championship caliber team. Who would have thought that if you fucking quit on one of the best teams in history directly, after getting a bag and after talking a load of shit, and then getting checked other teams may be wary. Fucking dumbass.

  9. I’m personally glad he’s off the team, he’s just not a good player, in fact he’s a pretty bad one, and 2022 was his anomaly, not his norm.

I do feel for him though. I hope he finds his groove. Can’t imagine the constant scrutiny he must face.

  10. I don’t understand the love for this dude. He went from being good to getting his bag and then immediately devolving into Bambi on ice. I say good riddance, and may his struggles continue.

  11. He has shot a little better post-ASB. But overall didn’t really improve his game to fit a bigger role.

Still got plenty of time with that contract. Hope he does.

  12. Can’t say that I miss having a player who bounces the ball off his own knee any time there’s a bit of pressure.

  13. I just rewatched game 4 against the Celtics, he was a big factor in that win, we don’t get that chip without his efforts. I’m all for the guy and hope he finds his way.

  14. He helped a lot in 22 ship. He was mainly the scorer in that big run in game 6. Wished he took defense seriously tho.

  15. I don’t care about the memes Poole will always be our boy, and I will always hope he turns it around.

  16. I always felt JP would have been totally fine as a role player for this team, had the punch never happened. Him and CP could have been nice

  17. 21-22 JP3 was a flame thrower, 22-23 JP3 was a dumpster fire.

Mad respect for him for helping us win the 4th championship. Without his X factor in the regular season and most definitely the playoffs, we wouldn’t have that 4th ring.

But, I honestly believe he let the success get to his head. That combined with having to deal with the complicated embarrassment of the punch is what led to this.

He just needs to keep his head down, do the work like he did before and find a team with good veteran leadership and he’s gonna come out on top again!

  18. I won’t forget what Poole did for us with Klay when Curry was out for a stretch in the 21-22 season to keep us rolling.

  19. I feel like podz is a way better guard to have on your team than poole.  Podz can shoot, playmake, and rebound well.  He takes charges really well.  The only thing he doesn’t do really well is defense, but he tries hard at everything.
