I’m one of those weird, subset of fan that thinks the regular season matters and is not *completely different* from the playoffs. Therefore I think the Mavs take it in no more than six because they have been playing outstanding basketball over the past couple of weeks. Albeit in the regular season.

It sucks that it’ll be considered a failure if we lose to a team this good, but it has to be. The path to the championship this year for either of these teams looks about as hard as any path maybe ever. The only teams without some proven scary playoff performers on it are the Kings and the Pelicans(who are still scary as hell imo). The west is just such a bloodbath. I think both these teams would be top 2 seeds in the east.
