This story has no connection to the current Angels so I’m not sure why I should care.
Ippei is a scumbag is really the only possible conclusion to this whole story. Those who still think Shohei was gambling through him will never be convinced and likely have other conspiracy theories that they hold onto.
I think the way we’re heading we could be a contender for the last wc spot but we don’t really have any trade capital or anyone that could join mid year and make an impact

I don’t know why Ohtani needed Ippei in the first place. It was ridiculous that he needed Ippei 24/7. When has any pro athlete needed someone in the dugout at all times? Ohtani should have manned up and tried it all solo and Hire professionals when needed. Why was Ohtani so special that he needed this extra help. Angels should never have never allowed it but they probably had no choice.
