Something I love about Coop is that he always shows respect for what other players around the league have accomplished previously, and what some players are currently doing in the league today, aka McDavid and Mackinnon. I think it’s something that makes him a great leader, that he appreciates the journey he’s had as a coach to witness so many other players’ milestones along the way, whether they were a Bolt or not. He seems very humble.

Time after time his responses are great. They asked him about the energy against the penguins after the first period down 0-2 and he said something like “well if youre asking I think you know the answer” basically acknowledging it without directly putting the team down and I think he does the same for opponents too. Just pure class I hope he sticks around forever.
