Late 3rd, Early 4th round Draft Target WR Malik Washington

Little guy who is not only fast, but has moves and makes plays. He reminds me a bit of Tarik Cohen when he used to line out wide as a WR, but faster.

This is such a deep a great WR class. A double dip at WR seems like a must in the 4th round.

See for yourself.

  1. They’re not gonna double dip at WR.

We need depth elsewhere, we’re not gonna draft a 2nd WR if we take a WR in the 1st to add to DJ and Keenan.

Scott and Velus have 3 and 2 years left on their contracts, they’re not gonna draft more day 2/day 3 depth WRs.

  2. JFC!!!! The idiocy in this sub. Yeah, let’s just go ahead and give a big FU to Montez and not bring him any help. You do realize that this team still has to play defense right? The offense isn’t going to be on the field the whole time this season.

  3. I like him a lot but would prefer Ainias Smith if we’re going with this body type, since Smith provides special teams value

  4. My personal belief is a team should have a strategy for 3rd through 7th round picks that focuses in on a specific body type / player they are confident they can have success developing. For example, drafting tackles we think we can convert into guards every year. Or corners we can convert into safeties.

I haven’t liked the draft picks we’ve made where we are drafting 5th round edge players and hope we can turn them into starter. Gipson. Dom Rom. Or the speedy receiver we think we can develop into something. Velus or Scott.

If I had to guess I think the transfer portal is going to slowly eliminate a lot of the late round luck at drafting skill positions.

  5. Only way we’re doubling on receiver is if we gather up at least two or three more picks.
