DHGate Jersey Review

Just received my jerseys from an order placed on 3/19. Ordered a Women’s size L in Flex base with the Moreno option as stock and a men’s L custom flex base with Ginkel.

The Gabi jersey was a stock option and I think the overall quality is better with the colors being closer to what you’d get in store. Maybe a bit darker on the teal. The World Series patch is awful. Horrible stitching on it and is massive compared to the real one I had ordered. The rest of the stitching on the jersey seems pretty solid.

The men’s custom jersey is pretty poor, and I’d say is the worst quality of the 6 or so jerseys I’ve ordered in the past few years. The Nike logo stitching is atrocious. The teal on the snake on the sleeve is wildly different from the teal on the rest of the jersey. Not pictured is the bottom of the tongue not stitched all the way so it flaps up. There’s a lot of loose threads throughout. The stitching on the A, Ginkel, and 37 are all pretty good. The other stitching on the black accents just isn’t great and feels kinda flimsy. I guess with the reports of the official gear this year though it fits right in quality wise.

Overall, for $50 including shipping for both jerseys they’re fine. I probably won’t be ordering any custom name/number jerseys anymore from DHG again but would order the stock options they have. I’ll be wearing the Ginkel jersey tonight and will compare it to the color in the team shop and can provide an update on that.
