Should the Buccaneers Draft a QB in the Later Rounds?

Should the Buccaneers Draft a QB in the Later Rounds?

  1. I mean if we are talking 6th or 7th round go for it I guess like most of the other positions drafted at those picks don’t work out either so it’s fine but I don’t want to waste a 4th or 5th round pick on one for no reason.

  2. It feels like Trask is over before it ever got started, but we never saw him in live action. So part of me just wants to wait.

  3. Way to many variables. Should it be a priority, hell no. If there is someone they really like and there are no players that fill a need then carry on.

  4. Flip Trask for a 7th and draft Leary in the 7th if Coen likes him. Wolford can be the new #2.

  5. Journalism rule: If the title of an article is a question, then the answer is “no.”

  6. I always hate drafting QBs unless he’s set to be the guy. A decent backup can easily be found in FA. I’d rather take a shot on a guy with traits that translate to special teams immediately and can maybe translate to being a decent depth piece.

There’s a good chance that 28 of the 32 opening day starters were drafted in Rounds 1-2 and three of the remaining four were drafted in Rounds 3 and 4. Purdy being the massive outlier

Shit 1/4 of the leagues starters at QB will be 1st overall draft picks let alone first rounders in general
