Ok Braves Country… let’s talk

Does Ozuna’s hot start change your opinion of him? What if he kept this pace all season? Be honest…

  1. Not likely that he will keep it up but if he does he would have to be in the MVP conversation. MLB would never allow it though.

  2. I called it a while back. Ozuna is gonna be the first to 40 Homers this season. Book it.

  3. He’s a great teammate. I’d love to keep him and think the Braves will be interested in a lucrative two year deal at the end of the year.

  4. dudes an absolutely professional hitter.

Between that 2 out ab with bases loaded and then going 446 to dead center…. wow.

  5. I don’t know what tf was going on with him to start the season last year but I’m sure glad we stuck with him

  6. I like Marcell. I hate all of his off field stuff, even if it seems as though him and his wife are both guilty. I want him to stay out of trouble.

But the dude is a great teammate, everyone on the team seems to love him. Plus he hits absolute piss missiles, so I’m okay with trying to keep him here, but if we can get a good return for him, I’m fine with trying to move him.

Edit: goddamn, sorry for having a super hot take of being fine keeping him or trading him.

  7. Probably going to get down voted to Phillie and back, but here goes.

My opinion of Ozuna has not changed. After his legal troubles (and I don’t care that the charges were dropped in the domestic violence bit) back to back, I have lost all respect for him. Yes, he has been a useful player. Yes, he has won games for the franchise. But I think the Braves could find a suitable replacement, and I wouldnt complain if they did.

I know most folks only care if he’s helping win games, and I understand that.

He just “stepped in it” too many times, in my opinion.

  8. My opinion of him has already changed before the season even started. Last year he was a new man on the field and he’s shown he’s keeping things grounded off the field, too

Anyone who still has issues with Ozuna will always have issues with him no matter what he does.

  9. He’s been keeping clean in terms of off-field stuff, and that’s all I care about. He keeps it up, and keeps hitting dingers, let’s keep him.

  10. He is a shitty person but he hits the ball hard for the team I like. It is what it is and I can live with it

  11. Help me out because I’d like to move past it and route for him. Is this not the same man that was caught on camera holding a woman against a wall(yes I know she had a knife). Was he ever absolved of any wrong doing? Also is this not the guy that was pulled over for DUI and used being a brave to get out of it? If he’s clean let me know because he’s raking, and I’d much rather cheer if I’m mistaken.

  12. I’ve been an Ozuna fan since the day we signed him. Last year when everyone would boo him at home, I would literally stand up and clap for him and yell his name out. I’ve been a fan of the guy regardless of his off field issues.

  13. Marcello Zuna off to a great start. I don’t know who this Marcel Ozuna person is.

  14. Change my opinion? No. I was a tiny bit worried he’d have a slow start again this year. Glad to see that isn’t the case. But he was crazy hot most of last season, so this isn’t all that surprising.
