Last week I said “starting pitching is not going to be our issue this season.”
I’d like to recant that statement.
Imagine if we had a competent rotation right now.. 8 runs should be enough to win games
I know it’s game 15, but listening to Baggy use that as an excuse all broadcast was hard to listen to
This is so ridiculous
We’re digging such a hole that even if they start playing better, there will be no coming back.
They showed signs of life at the end. Hopefully they’re mad now. Idk
Welp. The only silver lining is that the final score doesn’t look as embarrassing as originally anticipated. Progress???
Been a fun 8 years. Genuinely think the run is either over or stalled. Horrible front office decisions have absolutely gutted this franchise.
When are we going to do something about these sacks of shit throwing at Yordan all the time? Shit’s getting old.
I’m gonna drink and cry a lot this season. I see it now.
Bagwell needs to stop trying to insert himself in this org, makes me like him less even tho he’s a legend on the field
Did well to eat into their bullpen today for the rest of the series
A lot of our guys are near the top of the leaderboards in offensive stats. Pitching is just horrendous. Dana and Joe need to figure something out.
well that sucked
Can anybody explain to me why Yordan didn’t lose his fucking mind and go full roid rage when he got HBP? Isn’t that the norm?
Were going the way of the 2023 mets
We have a starting pitching issue. Really no other way to put it. It’s inexcusable that we didn’t get at least a Chad innings eater in the off-season.
At least the offense showed a little fight, which is more than I can say about the whole Royals series.
We have our true ace pitching tomorrow, so that’s at least something to look forward to.
Most of the time 8 runs will win you the game.
It’s just when your pitching gives up 12 that puts a wrinkle in that. The bats did come alive, but something has got to give with the pitching. Ronel Blanco can’t be the only pitcher worth his weight in gold right now until the injured come back…the others have to figure it out (Arrighetti might take a little longer) and soon
In pace for 42 wins.
I know we’re on starters like 3 and 6-9 but this is awful.
I hate to be the old man yelling at clouds but I don’t know if I like tuck flipping the bat on his second homer. You’re still down 7 runs. You’re on track to lose your 4th game in a row. Nothing to be celebrating right now. You should be pissed.
K. Our pitching staff really fuckin sucks.
I took a break from doing my taxes. My mistake.
*EVERYONE GET THE FUCK IN HERE NOW!*
-Dubie rn probably
Glad we were able to close the gap. With a stronger starter could probably have had this one. JP still doing his best. Wish our temp starters could go a little bit longer. My guess is Espada doesn’t want to take risks of injuring even more pitchers.
I’m straight up not having a good time
Can we please have Dubon on, like, have him learn first base so we don’t have Abreu anymore

On pace to win 42 games. I cursed us by but a jersey during the playoffs last year. Bought my first JJ Watt jersey and he was released the following year.. then Deshaun..
Le sigh
Jon Singleton needs to start! Give him 10-12 starts. If he hits .150, DFA him and move on. But he’s way better than Abreu right now
If our entire pitching staff wasn’t in the ER this team could win 105 games.
Wtf is going on w our starting pitching? Fucking pitch clock, big dong baseballs, 100mph every pitch and everybody is hurt now. Fuck this long ball brand of baseball mlb is promoting
I wanna see star pitchers and they’re all injured
Listening to Bagwell cope was exasperating. Hes so damn hard-headed.
