The Nuggets are rightfully favorites to win it all but it’s odd how little pushback there is on the road they’ll have to take compared to last year. I understand people are enamored with Jokic being otherworldly but this isn’t the 90s Bulls.
They faced two 8 seeds (the hobbled Wolves and the overachieving Heat) and a 7 seed (pretty mediocre Lakers team in reflection) in three of four rounds last year. Suns was a strong series win but that was also the first year of Booker and KD. They could have very well of lost home court advantage tonight in three of the potential four rounds, we know how lethal they are at home. That starting 5 is very good and Jokic is an all timer but with a bad bench and 4 rounds that could all go 6-7 games, a surprise early exit shouldn’t be ruled out.

The only Nuggets/Aves fans that are cool are transplants. Actual Colorado natives are too busy trying to gatekeep the state of Colorado to do enough with their lives to afford to live here
