  1. They resigned trey sermon…he’s a big, bruising back that came on late..

  2. I have no problem with us taking a rb on day 3, but I don’t think you should draft someone based on who their dad was

  3. I feel like we have bigger areas of need than backup RB.

Sermon and Hull should be decent enough.

  4. This is a pretty weak RB draft class. Also Frank Gore Jr isn’t a great prospect like Marvin Harrison jr… most of the time these “jr” guys are just some dude who happens to have a famous dad.

If someone like Jonathan brooks or Trey benson fell to us in the 3rd or 4th round and we’d already addressed WR & DB… I’d say maybe take a swing for RB2.

Otherwise, we’re probably better off seeing what Evan Hull and Trey Sermon do for us.

  5. It’s almost a certainty the Colts will draft a day 3 running back. Which one, trust the binder.

  6. They should absolutely draft a Day 3 RB. But just make sure it’s the best available and not simply based on whether or not their dad played for the team

  7. Would a projected 7th round pick really be considered a “big time backup”?

  8. Hull is going to be the main backup and pass catcher. People forget about him because he was hurt.
