Because y’know, their mascot is named howler

  2. Don’t really care either way about Howler – I like Bernie just fine. I am looking forward to seeing a Colorado-Utah hockey rivalry, though.

  3. Bernie is weak but I’d really like us to bring back Howler and have two mascots. There’s some precedent for it – teams have a mascot duo.

    Bernie is for the wee kiddies, goes to elementary schools, photos in between periods.

    Howler is the hype man, in the stands getting the crowd revved up, high fiving, taunting the other team, antics on the jumbotron, etc.

    Would be rad. Why not be unique and double up?

  8. I hope that during the Avs 30th anniversary they bring back the original jerseys (Kinda like the Bruins centennial jerseys) and for select games Howler appears
