  4. He was a star from day one in St. Louis.

    As a rookie he was getting the kind of preseason buzz Puka Nacua did last year. Coaches making a lot of comments about how advanced he was. But he was a backup and didn’t see a lot of targets.

    Flipper Anderson left in free agency, Bruce earned the starting spot in 1995 and suddenly nobody could cover him one on one.
