  1. He goes into a bit of depth about the show and mentions it has nothing to do with Sportsnet.

  2. Who are these people criticizing Blake!? Obviously he has a different style from Will but his analysis is the best on the Raptors beat and its not close

  3. The Raptors Show with Blake Murphy could work, if he got a cohost with a bigger personality.

  4. For their faults and missteps (not many for sure), listeners trust Will and Alex. They’re goofy and sometimes get close to or cross lines, but it’s never malicious. They’re authentic because they’re not controlled like many other broadcasters. It’s real and the audience knows that.

Although they haven’t said anything, freedom of what they can say and do is more important than what they were doing with SN. I stopped listening to them after they joined SN, but will listen again when they start their new venture.

Best of luck to Lou and Alex.

  5. Been riding with Will Lou since raptor republic days, ain’t stopping now. Excited to see what him and Alex got cooked up next

  6. I said it when Alex left the show, there is very little on air chemistry between Will and Blake and it many ways this felt like a forced marriage done by the executives to add “credibility” to the show. What they didn’t realize is that this show was about two Asian raptor fans talking hoops and being silly from time to time. Once blake joined as a full time host and Alex left mid way in the season, the show lost all of its charm, quirk and quite frankly its soul, and just became your standard sports radio show.
