Those glasses are knice.
i was happy when we got him….the only catcher we’d had since Bench’s rookie year that could hit at all was Joe Nolan, and the Reds let him goto the Orioles for nothjing after ’81. Too bad Alan wasn’t much of a catcher, and turned out to be a AAA GOAT but a MLB disappointment…but had some good games during a dark time.

I remember him. Just an awful player.
