Christian Yelich explains what he felt in his back this evening. He hopes that he caught it before it tightened up too much, but sounds like he’ll be out at least a couple days.

  1. Sucks, but I’m glad he caught it early and didn’t make things worse by trying to push through it. Thankfully the bats seem to be doing alright without him.

  2. This worries me LONG term, not just now that he’s on 🔥,but seasons to come .. it might need a contract restructuring if that’s possible..

  3. Not so hot take at this point, for all the talk in spring training, Sal won’t end up playing any third this year.

  4. From looking at the past couple of scores, it seems like the bats might be able to carry the offense if he has to sit out a bit.

With that being said I hope he gets better soon. Back issues are nasty.

  5. Hopefully i stopped before it got bad ya know. I felt it on that pop up, then i went up to bat, ran the bases, and then i again went out to play defense. Then i ran to a stand to get waffle fries and a beer and then down the escalator to get some hot nuts for Willy. But yea think i got in front of it

  6. Just saw him in the dugout talking to Rhys. Seemed in good spirits. Hopefully not out too much longer
