  1. There are few things as entertaining as Nestor’s shenanigans when he’s feeling himself. He’s doing shit like this, and somehow also has four strikeouts in just 2 innings (with no help from back to back errors from Rizzo)

  2. This is the most Buggs Bunny pitch delivery I’ve ever seen in an actual game. No clue how that’s not breaking some rule lol.

  3. Baseball fans would love this if he wasn’t a Yankee. If you’re a Yankee, you can’t be entertaining.

  4. It’s shocking to me that Nestor is the only pitcher experimenting with tricking batters in this way. I don’t think he’s particularly good at it, but he’s willing to try and it sometimes works

  5. I don’t know if it would’ve been funnier if it ended up with a strikeout looking or a homer.

  6. Can’t wait until this evolves into him doing a twirl on one foot before his pitch. I love this shit

  7. This move is just silly but besides this, how come other pitchers don’t add some random hesitation to throw off the timing of the batters? I remember David cone doing similar things both with hesitation and changing arm angles.

  8. This team is so frustrating. They’re likeable now. Between Nestor, Soto or Vertugo, I’m liking some of these Yankees. What the fuck.

  9. This thread really shows just how many people don’t understand that a balk has to do with runners and not the batter.

  10. Honestly, Nestor should just go full bugs bunny and bring a second baseball to the mound. Throw one ball then chuck the other after. Just for the memes. Take the, idk, ball? Or strike? Or ejection? Whatever, it’d be worth it and I’d call nasty Nestor the greatest pitcher ever from then on
