  1. The only thing Julio Rodriguez did in this game was get picked off at first lol

    I really did not think they were going to overturn that call. It looked too close to me. But there must have been a conclusive angle.

  2. That’s one of those endings you’re just glad to not be on the receiving end of. Phew.

  3. A solid series overall. The pitching was good for the most part. The defense was outstanding. The offense did just enough. Suzuki and Busch were awesome though!

    Those are the kinds of road series that good teams win.

  4. This game makes up for losing the 8 run lead in San Diego, IMO.

    The manager and the Cub’s pitching staff tried everything possible to lose this game.

    Neris needs to be sent down or released.

  5. Busch is becoming my favorite player. We needed a guy like him. He’s proving to be a steal. Four homers in four games

  6. Cubs still need more offense. Time to bring Mervis and Wisdom (although I’d actually prefer Slaughter since he’d add both speed and power) up and send Tauchman and Matstrobuoni down.
