A walk-off pick-off! You just love to see it
Can’t help feel bad for M fans. That had to be a shitty game from their POV
I enjoy when the Cubs win.
The only thing Julio Rodriguez did in this game was get picked off at first lol
I really did not think they were going to overturn that call. It looked too close to me. But there must have been a conclusive angle.

Our bullpen is currently being held together by generic-brand bandaids
How in the hell do they not use JRod to pinch hit!?
That’s one of those endings you’re just glad to not be on the receiving end of. Phew.
Bullpen with 3 and a third scoreless innings today. Elite
A solid series overall. The pitching was good for the most part. The defense was outstanding. The offense did just enough. Suzuki and Busch were awesome though!
Those are the kinds of road series that good teams win.
Now we’re even for the bad luck in that Rangers game
God that would be the most soul crushing way to lose. Glad it didn’t happen so us
Felt like we got away with a few wins after that pisser against the Padres.
On to AZ. Gallen pitched today so we avoid him.

Great series

Pitching actually picked up the offense this series.
The Cubs won.
Busch League
praise the busch
You don’t see that ending play very often
This game makes up for losing the 8 run lead in San Diego, IMO.
The manager and the Cub’s pitching staff tried everything possible to lose this game.
Neris needs to be sent down or released.
Busch is becoming my favorite player. We needed a guy like him. He’s proving to be a steal. Four homers in four games
Cubs still need more offense. Time to bring Mervis and Wisdom (although I’d actually prefer Slaughter since he’d add both speed and power) up and send Tauchman and Matstrobuoni down.
