It’s the culture that makes the lightning serious contenders every year – players like Kuch get hate when they’re emotional in games – but people forget they’re also the reason we are, as a team, great.

1. I gotta use some self awareness here, Kuch is a big crybaby when a situation or game doesn’t go his way. The team has gotten much better about that.

   But before we broke through and won the cup with this core, they definitely earned a reputation for folding under pressure when things got hard. ECF against the Caps showed that, and then the sweep showed it as well. I feel the team played their way out of that attitude, and of course winning fixes all. But Kuch is always gonna have moments of acting like a baby, doesn’t change that he’s a generational talent it’s just the way he is on the ice it seems

2. I get that the Leafs are on this sub a lot, but man, can we stop posting Leafs memes when we aren’t actively playing them? It just gives credence to all of their “rent free” comments

3. Shows emotion = crybaby

   Floats through the all star skills events = doesn’t care

   Can’t win. Don’t worry about them.
