  1. If (read when) we win a championship next year anyone who suited up this year can get a ring

  2. GG and Slaw took 56 attempts to the rest of the team’s combined 44, which is rather based

  3. We lost today but seeing GG have 44 and Slaw Dog having that dawg in him with 29 makes this a W.

What a historic season for all the right and wrong reasons.

  4. We’re free at last!!!!! Nice to see GG show people what’s to come one last time! Soon it will be time for our championship maneuvers!

  5. GG is a problem. And he’s gonna be a problem for defenses for a long time. Pure scorer. HES the dynamic 3 we’ve needed since the core 4 era…

Frankly, we sucked this season even when bane and jjj were playing together and that’s somewhat disconcerting. Like, in past years when ja went out, things were fine. I know a lot more than ja was out but 2 of your big 3 should at least be near a .500 team and instead wed always lose in spite of their monster games Hopefully ja coming back magically fixes everything. I can’t take another losing season and having everyone rooting for losses again yuck, screw a tank win some ballgames 🥴🤪

Terrible draft class… but if we can’t trade for allen or can’t afford Claxton, Hopefully we draft Clingan. All the best centers end with the -en sound, clearly

See you all in summer league game threads. Or tomorrow. Whichever. I don’t have a life

  6. Had fun ladies and gents.

Still a bit raw about moving Steveo, but ZK has turned me into a believer again after a rough spate of picks and season.

I was one of the preeminent dumbasses talking about Walker Kessler and Laravia. If Laravia is a dude who can give you what he’s been doing (albeit on a smaller scale), I was totally wrong.

  7. **FINAL POSTGAME THOUGHTS OF THE 23/24 SEASON:**

**• Because I’m that petty bitch, I’m going to say I TOLD YOU SO on GG Jackson…**

*”OMG Shannon! WTF are you talking about?!”* YOU KNOW WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT. **You know who you are**. Back in the summer league, some of you nephews in here told me I was crazy for saying that GG would surprise people this season. You laughed and downvoted me but that’s okay because I love being right. My dude put up a point for every chance a team had to take him in the draft and decided not to.

The big question will be what to do with him for next season. I still maintain that the best place for him on the roster next season is as the primary scorer of the second unit rather than clogging up the what is already an overpowered starting lineup. It’s smarter to be able to have scoring pressure on the floor at all times, including when starters have to rest.

**• LOOK AT ME WORKING ON MY TAN OVER HERE ON LA ISLA DE SLAW…**

Come on, y’all: **admit that he can play.** Do you want him traded because he’s a bad fit for the team… *or because you just don’t like him??* I think he has really nice chemistry with GG and they could be the scoring foundation of the second unit. Starters run up the score and then have to come out and what happens? Leads fade. Not if you have GG & Jake as the base of the second unit though. They’ve gotten all of this experience against **starters**, they’ll make short work of second units.

A second unit might look like GG, Jake, Luke, Santi and maybe Bane getting extra minutes from the starting lineup or Smart or something. That would be fucking dangerous.

**• Glad they got SPjr and Himison on two-ways but some of these other characters…?**

Yeah, I’ll be glad when we see more regular faces. Keep Lamar, let go of Goodwin. Let go of DRose somehow. No need for Yuta. I’ll be interested in seeing what they can do with SPjr and Trey this summer to develop them into players who are more fully in tune to the Grizzlies playbook.

The only one who has come and gone that I’d love to see back is Deeky. I loved his game. He had the right height, he had the offensive talent and he was even a pretty good defender. He just never got enough NBA reps to develop a rhythm. Getting games under your belt really does make you a different player. Eventually things just click. I mean, look no further than Jake for an illustration.

    **• TANK YOU VERY MUCH!!**

    Let’s get this lottery!

Now for me to decide who to pull for in the playoffs. UGH…
