The worst part is a lot of his previous injuries were freak accidents. Yeah he’s always grimacing but he plays through pain more than most guys
Yup. Lots of folks, even Lakers fans, wrote off AD. Real ones never questioned.
Here he is playing 76 games. 77 if you include the IST game.
Far more than Embiid (who missed 30 games) Giannis (who missed 7), Adebayo (missed 11 games)
All while doing it on both ends – scoring and defending at a high level. 😤🙏🔥💜💛
And finished the 8th seed lol
And would have played more if people would stop attacking his eyes for some reason. Once, that’s my DPOY right there
Just another example of how powerful media narratives can be & how they can easily almost ruin a players reputation. Also another reason certain players are not interested in playing in high profile big media markets. You can become the butt of a long running joke & its not easy to shake off.

Disappointing that Bron and AD played a lot of games, often at MVP-level, and yet the Lakers ended up with such a mediocre seed.
They should be Top 3 in the West.
The rest of the roster is just really, really “meh” and overrated.
