I think XG% is generally nonsense that favours shot volume teams, but still found this worth sharing. Eye test does confirm here; Ed has been outstanding and Petry has been reborn since paired with him.

I distinctly remember games in which Petry has still been given shit and people have said he’s dragging Edvinsson down.
He hasn’t been “reborn”, he’s just not as bad as people make it sound, regardless of who he’s paired with.
Ed-boy has looked great. He makes some rookie mistakes, but he recovers well and already knows how to use his size and reach to open up offensive opportunities.
