2023/2024 Memphis Grizzlies Exit Interviews Megathread


Big ups to the r/memphisgrizzlies community and users! Thank you all for your support and contributions this season. As we all know, it was a historically tough season for Memphis, but there were plenty of diamonds found in the rough. We will use this thread to compile and discuss the player and FO exit interviews for the 2023/2024 season. Let's hear your feedback and ideas for the off-season below!

  1. I think Luke Kennard’s time might be up here. Grayson Allen just got 4 yrs/70 million from the Suns and Kleiman was in no way committal about keeping him when asked in the exit interview. His agents (same as Grayson’s btw) know that as a shooter Luke can make big money. Grizzlies can’t (and shouldn’t) give him that with the rest of the other salary commitments as well as his injury history.

  2. Ja talking about his relationship with D Rose and his kid being on Ja’s AAU team in my opinion make it so D Rose owns the 15th spot.

    I have read multiple times the take that D Rose isn’t worth the spot because he isn’t going to contribute meaningful minutes and thats really bothered me because it completely ignores his locker room presence and the value he can offer ja especially when he’s comming back from injury.
