Playoffs? Is it enough?

Ultimately the Cavs decided to take the more difficult route by tanking and wanting Orlando in the first round.

JB is 2-8 in the playoffs in his career. Once with Houston and last years gentleman's sweep against the Knicks.

JB is thinking about his job security, not actually trying to win a championship. Why else would he be tanking like they did?

Cavs already tanked the majority of the games after the All Star break going 12-17 losing to pretty much every good team they played as well as losing against bad teams like Charlotte twice and the Clippers debacle.

You do realize those games cost us the 2 seed vs now the 4th. We also could have avoided the Celtics until the ECF.

If the Cavs get past Magic, he can then say we got past the first round finally and they use the excuse that the juggernaut Celtics were just too much.

I would also like to point out that the Cavs are 22nd out of 30 teams in FT percentage an on going problem, and 20th out of 30 for Defense.

Making past the first round and done, with this talented roster (If we beat Orlando, BIG IF) to me isn't a successful season. There is too much on the line with the impending Donavan Mitchell extension situation to think that just getting past the first round is a sizable improvement from last year.

You folks that think he is going to be happy staying in Cleveland with all the disfunction and regression as a team we have been having especially after the All Star break and not make it to at least the ECF?

You folks that are banking on that he wants to take the money to which we can offer him the most. I don't think so.

I think he wants to win now which means we need to make a serious jump now.

Lebron always took less money in the beginning in CLE and with the cHeat to want to win now, and DM will do the same to go somewhere else, whether that be LA or NY.

Last season we were playing well after the All Star break with a 13-8 record, and then we tanked in the playoffs. This season one of the worst records after the All Star break, and you think this team is going to just be able to flip the switch?

You think Niang and Strus are going to be able to be the difference makers?

Is Dean Wade and Merrill or how about Ty Jerome finally going to be back for the injury report?

JB with his rotations and his lack of playoff success going to be able to pull the right strings to get us to the promise land to at least the ECF?

We better pray, because if we don't get there this team will be looking for a new coach and dealing with the DM situation because they aren't going to let him walk away for nothing.

I am hopeful that the switch will be flipped or impending disaster will be upon us all as Cleveland Cavaliers fans.

Let's go Cleveland!
