This is why the 9th seed/play-in is treated like a championship by the org and some fans. The standard has been too low for way too long
We have had stints of “what could be”, but the proof is in the pudding… and it is so fitting that one of Jerry’s teams is about to finish a mediocre season, just to startup another mediocre season in a whole different sport 😂
They were a failure before too. Take away MJ and this a rough franchise
Even the Kings have a better winning percentage than us since 99???
can all of you negative nancys just shut the fk up until at least after the play in game? despite all the issues and injuries, we get to play an elimination basketball game at home.
that’s fun and i’m excited to watch it. i like the players. this team plays hard and has been good in the clutch. enjoy the beautiful game for once – we’re not THAT bad at it.
I’d love to see the stats when you take away the Thibs era. I bet it’s even worse
If it wasnt for drafting Jordan and one incredibly fortunate Sox team Reinsdorf would be talked about among the worst owners in the history of American sports.
And almost all the success they have had since Jordan retired is due to drafting Rose and Butler. That is a #1 pick that we got by leapfrogging eight teams and striking gold with the last pick in the draft. Without that good luck we are basically the Wizards

Fucking hate this dude all he does is shit on the bulls and Chicago isn’t there some rugby or local Australian football team he can cover and hate on. Ask him why he doesn’t move to Chicago (it’s because he’s scared of crime) pussy.
This team is not built for a run and there is no path towards that. After we lose one of our play-in games it is time to start over.
Sports and favorite teams are something crazy, right? I’ve been watching this team since 2009, I know there are fans here with a much longer timespan of cheering for the Bulls.
This season I’ve watched 20 games at most, and even though I tried to get into another team, I simply can’t? Why? Why I need to keep torturing myself watching this lame ass owner fucking this franchise over and over?
I don’t know. But I’ll keep watching them.
I can almost guarantee what’s going to happen this offseason…AKME will overpay for an aging Derozan (I love the guy but there is no future with him let’s be honest) Ball will come back (This will be the silver lining we’ll be sold all off season as we get told how good the team was with him for 25 games 3 years ago!) they’ll either trade Zach for peanuts or not find a trade partner, Pat will be resigned to a overpaid dumb contract, Drummond will walk (and I don’t blame him), and they’ll sign 1 or 2 mid FAs…AK will talk about how he could’ve blown the team up but felt this was the right direction and we’ll all be right here next season with another play in game coming up.
